At AAA Auto Salvage, we dedicate ourselves to provide excellent customer service and one such way is through AAA's website. We are very excited and proud to announce beginning today, December 24th 2009 our website has a new look and full of new features to make things easier for everyone. To our frequent visitors, you can now get your cut-sheets right from the front page. Google maps and directions can be viewed instantly by clicking on our two facility's addresses in Rosemount and East Bethel, Minnesota.
We have also implemented a blog and a link to AAA's eBay store, eBaaayparts. Our blog features regular announcements from AAA Auto Salvage, industry news, special promotion and latest vehicle acquisition. Perhaps one dominant feature from this blog that many of us can make use of is the RSS feed. By subscribing to our RSS feed, you can keep track of what's new in our inventory and request to have a part pulled from the vehicle even before it goes through production. So if you're tired of hearing a part is not in stock for your car, subscribe to our feed today and be the first to know when a matching car with the part you're looking for arrive at AAA.

Blackthorne and Hollander Powerlink E-Commerce integration for eBay sellers
As one of the largest partners of Hollander's Powerlink division, AAA Auto Salvage has the privilege to try out the company's latest offering in its yard management portfolio. This build of Powerlink has integration for E-Commerce data output, which was created to work with eBay's Blackthorne, an inventory management and listing tool.
Here at AAA Auto Salvage, we're very excited for this opportunity and we truly believe this will take our online presence to the next level with our eBay store and the soon to be introduced, AAA's online store.
Testing out K2 extension for Joomla
K2 Extension for Joomla is the newest blogging tool for the most popular CMS available today. For years Wordpress has had the commanding lead over everyone else when it comes to blogging. That however is about to change if more and more Joomla web developers are adopting this new platform.
Wordpress while extremely easy to use, is not very flexible in terms of site layout & customizations. On the other hand, Joomla is light years ahead of Wordpress in this regard. There are ways to have the best of both worlds by running both Joomla and Wordpress and have them serve the purposes for which they're best suited. The issues with these work-arounds are duplications of database and contents. Last but not least, your site will not look uniform because the blog section of the site will look different from the rest of the site due to Wordpress' theme.
K2 is not the first and will certainly not the last extension for Joomla to handle blogging, but it has shown tremendous potentials to be the tool of trade for this platform.
